DSD "passthrough" to wavpack

when running wavpack.exe directly against a DSF file, the output file stays as DSD. Is it the same when converting using dbPoweramp?

I just tried using dbPoweramp to convert a DSF file previously encoded using wavpack.exe and the new file is like 4x the size.
