I try to convert a 44,1 kHz 24 bit FLAC in a m4a container to a 44,1 kHz 24 bit ALAC in m4a container.
Unfortunately dbpoweramp converter converts it to a 44,1 kHz 16 bit ALAC in m4a container. How can I keep the bit depth correctly?
I tried the Bit Depth DSP and selected the fixed bit Depth to 24 Bit. It works, but I'm not sure if it will convert the file itself or if it keeps it.
Choosing Minimum 16, Maximum 32 Bit Float doesn't work.
Also I want to convert many different files with different bit depth, so I won't choose manually. I don't want any quality loss.
If ALAC doesn't support 44,1 kHz 24 bit, how can I convert to a 44,1 kHz 24 bit FLAC in a flac container? Here I have the same issue.
Thanks!
