Can't convert OGG despite installing codec

I have a couple of OGG files which play fine in Windows Media Player, but which I want to convert to mp3. When trying to convert with with dbPowerAmp, I get conversion errors, thus:

Error converting to mp3 (Lame), 'C:\ABC.ogg' to 'C:\ABC.mp3'
Error: Unable to load decoder for file type '.ogg', codec not installed? visit 'Codec Central'. [dBCoreConverter::dBCoreConverter]

I have downloaded and apparently successfully installed the "dBpoweramp-Codec-OggVorbis.exe" codec and have the latest version of the converter intalled ("dMC-r15.3-Registered.exe").

What's going wrong with this then?

You have installed the codec to the same location as dBpoweramp?

I am having this same problem and can't convert WM files either. dB says I have both codec installed.

Well I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and now it's working, both for oog and m4a.

This is a fantastic program, I probably only use a fraction of what it can do but I use it all the time. Thank you.
