Unable to uninstall dBpoweramp on Windows 10

I tried to uninstall dBpoweramp on Windows 10 with "Add or remove programs" function. Didn't work. Only when going into the control panel and choosing "Uninstall a program" everything went fine.

By the way is it normal that dBpoweramp only creates shortcuts on the desktop an none in the start menu?

They are in the start menu but Windows hides them you need to click the down arrow to list all programs installed.
