Music Converter is slow since updating

I followed the prompt to update today. Prior to doing so it converted a folder of twelve 24/192 aiff files to 24/96 in seconds. After updating and rebooting as directed (reboot took forever) on my Windows 10 PC, it takes over five minutes to convert another folder of 12 files 24/192 to 24/96.

Why so sluggish since the update? Could be my computer but everything else seems to be working fine.

Check you do not have any DSP effects (CPU throttle, CPU force). Check the files are all local (from and to), to rule out any network slowness.

I've noticed this today with version 2024-05-30, I haven't changed any settings, all of a sudden it's moving extremely slow.

Where are your files? on a network? What file format are the source files?
