DSD (.dsf) to PCM (flac)?

Hello,
I have some files here which are in DSD (.dsf files) an I now would like to convert them to PCM (flac files). I heard this was possible with DBPoweramp, but how??
I installed the DSD Plugin from the codec central and than opened my dsf files in the audio converter and have set the output to FLAC. Then I just get this error:

What am I doing wrong??

It is probabbly not a .dsf file, the format of dsf is quite simple, it has to have a header chunk at the start.

Try renaming to .dsd

I am using dppower mac latest version. Does this app able to convert dff format to dsf ? I have some old dsd files in dff need tagging seens the dsf format is possible but not sure dppower can help

How about the conversion of DSF to ALAC using dBpoweramp Music Converter on a Mac can that be done? Thanks...

dBpoweramp can decode the DSF file and encode to Apple lossless, or AAC yes.
