    Workflow for multichannel DSF to 2 channel FLAC

    I have an album that is recorded in DSD64 5 channel. Bela Bartok, Concerto for Orchestra.
    I would like to convert it to 2 channel flac,

    I am not an expert in this field, but Roon does something similiar to this workflow:

    1) Music Converter settings: Decode to PCM 96 kHz 64 bit Float
    2) DSP Channel Count. 2 channels
    3) DSP Audio Normalize Peak to Peak
    4) DSP Bit depth 24 bit with dither
    5) Convert to Flac with default compression 5.

    A 96 kHz 24bit Flac is created that is playable.

    Tried to add a scren shot, but is not working.

    What do others say? Is is good workflow or can it be improved?

    You might find Audio Normalize to EBU R128 is better for your collection, as it would help with different types of audio and volume disparity.

      If I would to like to experiment to decode DSD stream to higher bitrate and apply lowpassfilter in what order do I usre DSP filter?

      1) Music Converter settings: Decode to PCM 352,8 kHz 64 bit Float
      2) DSP Lowpass filter 30 kHz
      3) DSP Bit depth 176,4 kHz
      4) DSP Channel Count. 2 channels
      5) DSP Audio Normalize EBU R128
      6) DSP Bit depth 24 bit with dither
      7) Convert to Flac with default compression 5.

      I doubt I notice a difference....
