Dbpoweramp window fails too appear on Screen

Since receiving a Microsoft Update the other day DBpoweramp does not appear on my screen It is running (according to task manager) and I can, when moving the cursor over the screen see some of the boxes but not the complete window (e.g. when ejecting the CD the selct drive box appears). Have updated to 15.3 no change, reset the PC no change.

We are dealing with this on this thread here:

Hi I'm using the product for many months now. No problem with until today. When I launch the service, it seems it's running but nothing appears on the screen except "insert Audio CD into" Menu (see attachment). There seem to be a number of Vista users who are having issues since a recent update. In one of the other threads discussing this (you'll find them in the CD Ripper forum), Spoon said he was setting up a Vista platform for testing. I'm sure he'll figure it out soon.

As a side note, I suspect you'll be seeing a lot more of this sort of thing going forward, as Microsoft and third-party developers direct their sites more aggressively toward the newer Windows platforms. Windows 7 is rapidly becoming the oldest "compatible" version, with XP and Vista users left to fend for themselves. It might be worth your while to upgrade soon and avoid the hassles.

Frankly, I was surprised that there were *any* Vista updates. I thought it was much older than XP, and I thought XP quit being updated more than a year ago. I feel old school because I'm still using Win7.

Vista has been released after XP.

Aha. I went straight from XP to Win7 and didn't really notice. Mostly using work provided machines and they always skip a generation.
