What is the recommended AAC encoder?

I noticed to AAC encoders. The FAAC enconder and the psyctel encoder. Which is recommended if I am looking for the best sound quality? I am looking at converting files to AAC to use on my Mac, IPOD and PCs. The size with the psyctel impressed me. But i am concerned about quality.

have you seen the mp4 codec in the beta forum? here: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=2662

i think sound quality is based on your own hearing. i like OGG VBR at 192/Kbps .
but at least mp4 which i think sounds great also is accepted by mp3 players like like ipod etc...
