FLAC bug with 24bit 96khz WAV

Think I found a bug in the flac codec, I was testing it on a 24bit 96khz wav file and all it would create was a 53k file (headers?) with nothing in it. I've configured a CLI using the flac.exe and that seems to work fine. No errors reported by dmc. Convertion to a 16bit 48khz wav was okay and to a mp4. Going to mp3 gave this error "The CODEC required to compress 'E:\test.mp3' could not be opened." but I can go thru the wav conversion first okay.

    Thanks,
    Ailean.

I will have to mark it down as a bug, I think dMC is not writing the correct WFXExtensible wave file for Flac to work on. I will look at it when I get chance.

Oh yes, make sure you have the latest beta version of dMC otherwise there is no chance it might work.

Ta Spoon, I think I was on the last beta release. I've just downloaded the RC1 so I'll give that a try tonight, if it fixes anything I'll post again otherwise consider it still broken.
