    Won't rip

I have tried to find the answer to this but can't. I have used dbpoweramp cdinput for ripping before and now it won't work on my computer running XP. I get the following error message:

The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\1-Don't Panic-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.
The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\2-Shiver-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.
The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\3-Spies-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.
The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\4-Sparks-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.
The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\5-Yellow-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.
The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\6-Trouble-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.
The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\7-Parachutes-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.
The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\8-High Speed-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.
The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\9-We Never Change-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.
The output file 'F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\10-Everything's Not Lost-Parachutes.ogg' could not be opened.

This happens no matter what cd or even if I use the mp3 codec. I tried various command sets and nothing changed. The first time I tried to rip, the cd spun up and the progress bar came up but it went way too quickly to be actually ripping. Now it does not spin goes straight to the above message. Like I said I have used the program successfully before and I can use something like musicmatch to rip just fine. Any suggestions?

Could the drive <F:\> be your CD-Rom drive?

      CDRW is G
      DVD-Rom is H
My "Media" hard drive is the F drive.

I also just uninstalled and reinstalled dbpoweramp and the ogg codec and tried the ASPI installer and checker mentioned on the support page but it doesn't appear to have helped. Now when I run the ASPI check it gives dates for all the files (before it did not) but neither the "G" nor "H" drive is recogized in dbpamp cdinput under the ASPI option in advanced drive options. It is listed under 2000/NT device IO and 2000/NT built in options, but neither will rip. Still stuck.

Try converting an existing file, say ogg file to:

        F:\Converted Music\Ogg\Coldplay \Parachutes\

I converted a song (on the same hard drive) and it converted to the above folder just fine. I found ForceASPI and installed that. CDex wouldn't even start up and once I installed it, CDex worked perfectly. But dbpoweramp still does not work and I continue to get the same message. Strange.

            I see the problem:

            'Coldplay \'

there is a space after coldplay, it shouldn't be there.
