DBPoweramp busted on me

I tried to install it again to get a newer version, and now it doesnt work at all. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, making sure to restart my computer. All it does is say "codec not found" , I am trying to alter the sample rate on an existing mp3 and it worked before :(.

The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\--------.mp3.TEMP.mp3' could not be opened.

I searched the forum and tried as many combinations as I could (ESPECIALLY) the default encoding configurartions, but nothing worked. I think my codec is messed up because now I can't encode any mp3s. I tried reinstalling and reinstalling etc, and nothing works.

Try a different bitrate.
