Help please...Installation problem

I run Win XP. I installed release 9 and when installing the WMV codec
I get the error from musicconverter.exe "The procedure point wmcreatesyncreader could not be located in the dynamic link library wmvcore.DLL". Also when I run DMC Audio CD Input nothing happens. I put
my CD in and try to get it to got to the FreeDB DB but it does nothing and
I can not get it to rip either. Please help.

First things first, maybe you could try the latest beta of dMC available here.

For Audio CD Input, click on the OPTION button, then on ADVANCED (next to the CD reader's name), and change the CD COMMUNICATION from whatever it is at to 2000 / NT Built-In (Limited). Can you rip after that?
