Just saw the other post stating Mac has no utility support. Does this mean ReplayGain is not supported on Mac?

It is included as a DSP effect only, for use at time of ripping or conversion.

What does it base the values on if it doesn't have the music library gain setting? I have built up music since 2005. I am not re-ripping. Will ask for refund.

It is based on the audio in the file, you can convert lossless to lossless and generate this value.

Looks like a learning moment for me on how ReplayGain works. Meta-tag stores peak and average gain then player uses this at line level to adjust sound at standard dB. Correct?
