    CODEC decompression error for '\\CdRom\Track01.cda

    Hi all

I use dbpowerAmp for long time with no problem,
but today when i tryied to rip some Audio CDs i just get this:

    CODEC decompression error for '\\CdRom\Track01.cda'
Unable to Rip track - make sure correct Ripping method is selected and CD Drive supports digital audio extraction.

I allready uninstall and install again the soft and the codecs, and
it does not matter what DMC Advanced Configuration or codec i use
    i allways get that!!! :(

And MediaPlayer 9 can rip with no problem....

    can you help me??

    THANKS

    Dio

FWIW, I'm a first-time user and have the identical problem. Got the same flag when I tried to rip.

Hopefully Spoon will have a fix.

I just installed DMC and I'm trying to convert my CD files to MP3. When I attempt to do this, I receive this message: The CODEC required to decompress 'D:\Track01.cda' could not be opened. Unable to access CD Drive 'D:\Track01.cda' I tried downloading several codecs that I thought were pertinent, but none worked (I've

For XP set the 'Communication' to 'Device IO Built In (Limited)' that should help.

I am pretty much out of ideas apart from make sure you are logged on as Administrator and the correct CD drive is selected in Audio CD Input >> Options.
