Help with Progressive Playback on Android

We have been developing a streaming app that works perfectly with the files we convert using DB poweramp when playing in iOS, but has all kinds of problems with Android.. our developers have provided us the following article:

The feel that the problem is related to the ATOMS and the meta headers.. are there any power users in this forum who could suggest some settings that we might try that could correct this problem?

dBpoweramp writes m4a files with the mdat chunk last, so these files are fine for streaming.
