Another DVD to audio only question...

I read the posting about recording DVD audio tracks using a line out/ line in combination to record...
I am wondering if there is a simple way to simply 'rip' the audio tracks from a DVD to mp3 or wav files so that they can then be burned to cd. (think ripping concert audio from favourite dvd concerts so I can listen to them in the car).
    Just curious.
    Thanks,

You could use the Robot4Rip module of GordianKnot (the package to re-encode DVD movies to DivX or Xvid) and deactivate all options pertaining to the movie and just keep the audio part.

Check out www.doom9.org and download the GordianKnot package.
