Hi Folks,
Have used dbPowerConverter (dMC) your Ripper for several years and found it quick and efficient (aside form the fact that I use Large icons and this messes up the display). I had set the v8 (Lame 3.91) cd to mp3 settings to:
Preserve id Tags
Frequency 44100 Hz
Encoding Very High
Channels Stereo
320kbps
This mp3 file would then play fine in Windows media Player and when burnt on an mp3 disc in my walkman. This on a Windows 98 installation with all the upgrades specified in place.
I upgraded the version of dbPowerConverter (dMC) to v9a and I find that I can produce an mp3 file that will play OK with the settings above upto 224kbps, once above this a file is created but won't play in Windows Media Player. Have tried all the settings in the drop down list and all the other settings varied also, can't seem to get a Stereo, 44100, 320 kbps rip, can anyone help?
Cheers,
Helter_Skelter
