Hello everyone,
I encoded a few music files recently using the FDK AAC codec. When I went to play two of the files ("What's Happening Brother" and "Flyin' High (In the Friendly Sky)" from the album What's Going On), I noticed there was a slight pause when "What's Happening Brother" transitions to "Flyin' High (In the Friendly Sky)". This isn't supposed to happen, as the first song is supposed to seamlessly transition to the next without any pause. I've tried playing the files in foobar2000 and Winamp and the problem persists for both. Is this a problem with the codec itself or the music players not supporting gapless playback for FDK AAC encoded files? Could it also be that the FDK AAC codec isn't adding a ITUNSMPB tag to the files?
Cheers.
