    Problem converting anything to .mp3

Any time I try converting to an .mp3 (specificly I've tried from .aiff and .wav files) I get this error.

The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Desktop\test.mp3.TEMP.mp3' could not be opened.

I've reinstalled dbpowerAMP twice, and tried two other LAME codecs and neither have worked.

    Any ideas?

The file itself could be bad. Can you encode any other file to MP3? Like try ripping a CD to MP3, does it work?

Certain mp3 compression settings do not work together - try altering the frequency or bitrate.
