slow Ripping

Does the 'slow accurate ripping' option have any interaction with the 'rip speed' settings ? For example, will it help quality by changing from 36x to 8x speed when I use 'slow accurate rip' ? Thanks

If I am not mistaken, the slow ripping option is only to support some old CD-ROM drives, you shouldn't use it.
