Files cut off at the end

We have a special source audio format that is generated by the German radio software "DigAS".
With an old Version of dBpoweramp, 11.5, we could convert files into other formats like mp3 and mp2 without a problem.
Now with Version 15.1 the files are cut off at the end. About the last one to three seconds of the destination files are missing.
Should I upload a sample file?

What audio type are the source files?

The file extension is .MUS, it is a slightly adapted .MP2 file.

Our decoder has changed since R11.5, it is likely there are stream errors at the end of this file.

Do you have any idea how we can convert our files error free?
I have tried several settings without success.
We would like to continue using dBpoweramp if possible.

You would most likely need a machine with Windows XP and install R11.5
