Hey, was wondering if it would be possible to build the iTunes AAC encoder into dBpoweramp. I can't imagine it wouldn't be possible since foobar2000 has it built in now.
The reason I'm asking is because I see there is an AAC encoder, but it's the FDK AAC encoder, which apparently is not as good as the iTunes one, and is CBR rather than VBR. Also, my Sansa Clip Zip does not like this AAC encoder for some reason, and I am not satisfied with the quality of Lame MP3 compared to AAC. I'd use Vorbis, but then I run into compatibility issues with other players I use.
Can we get iTunes AAC as a built-in codec?
Thanks.
