Volume normalize DSP doesn't remove replay gain tags?

Using dbpoweramp reference 15.1 (64bit), replay gain R4, DSP effects R11

I'm converting FLAC files with full (track + album) replay gain tags to mp3. If the conversion uses the "replay gain (apply)" DSP, the resulting files have the replay gain tags removed (as expected.)

If the conversion uses volume normalize (replay gain) DSP instead, the replay gain tags are left intact. If those files are played in a RG aware player (foobar, for example), the volume is way too low (or way too high.)

Suggestion: volume normalize DSP should remove replay gain tags.

I do not get this when testing. Perhaps in dBpoweramp Configuration >> Music Converter

you have the option 'Drop Replaygain tags' unchecked, by default it is checked.
