ripping directly to vortexbox

I cannot see how to:
a) rip directly to a Vortexbox which is on the same network (at \\vortexbox\files\music\flac) rather than to the PCs hard drive and then copying, and
b) use PerfectTunes to verify the flac files already on the Vortexbox

any help greatly appreciated!

Map the network share as a drive letter, then it is easy to select in PerfectTunes or dBpoweramp. Do this from Windows Explorer.
