This happened once a while back on R14, I right clicked an M4A file on my desktop and selected "Convert", it asked whether I wanted to overwrite as I was simply reducing the bitrate, not changing formats. However the overwrite dialog shows the same file twice, with one of them unticked. If I click convert, the program simply crashes without explanation or converting. Trying again, same thing - this is what the "Files list" dialog looks like (it also shows the duplicate entry, albeit one has no details):
If I tried with multiple files, same thing happens and each file has an unticked duplicate. Not sure what I did back then (I think I simply rebooted) and it was all OK.
This happened again today, and a reboot didn't fix it. I even updated to R15 after completely cleaning out the existing install, codecs, registry entry, program folders etc, rebooted multiple times, but this weird issue is persisting.
Additionally, I also tried going into batch convert mode and picking the file through there, but it still run into the same problem.
