    Error decoding mp3 data stream

I'm converting a batch of mp3s to low-bitrate Ogg to fit them on a music player, and several files keep generating the error "Error decoding data stream, is corrupt?". Except when I listen to them using any player, including portable ones they play perfectly, no skips or anything.

The annoying part is that when dbpoweramp encounters this error it stops converting, leaving me with songs that end suddenly.

Can it be forced to convert to the end anyway? I'm aware I could decode the affected mp3s to wav using any audio program and then encode them to ogg, but this happens to random files in a very long list and I really don't want to fish them out one by one.

if you have dBpoweramp R15 there is an option in dBpoweramp Configuration >> Codecs >> Advanced

to continue decoding on error, however if the files are highly corrupted it would not be able to continue.

I checked that option and under "mp3 decoder" I have "decode errors" set to "ignore". The other option is "report as error", and it is NOT selected. Yet I still get the reports and half-converted files.

I just listened to a batch of errored files. Some have been converted to the end anyway, others have been only partially converted. Based on what you say I'd imagine the fully converted ones are slightly corrupted and it continued, while the others are highly corrupted and it could not. However, how is it possible that listening to these supposedly highly corrupted files works perfectly with NO audio problems whatsoever?
