    dbPowerAmp install

    Hello -

    I'm using a Dell KACE K1000 appliance to set up an install package for dbPowerAmp 13.5, and I'm trying to find out if there's a way to make the installation completely silent (no wizard windows, no popping up IE to a dbPowerAmp information page, etc.). I've found references to these switches, but they're not what I'm looking for:
    <Silent>
    /s
    --silent

    I'm trying to run the installers:

    Any help would be appreciated - thank you!

    They are the right switches depending on version of program, however it is not possible to stop the end config page.

      Would there be an adverse effect of just doing something like 'taskkill dbconfig.exe'?

      Also, one or more of those installers opens up IE to display an Illustrate info page. Can that be suppressed?

      And the WMP codecs may or may not ask for a reboot. I'm not sure what's prompting that behavior.

      Thanks for the info.

        The IE window can be closed and the config program can be closed.
