Loss of multi core support on upgrade

Hi - I recently upgraded to the latest 14.4 update of Music Converter (fully paid for and registered) and my PC will now only convert one audio file at a time in sequence rather than the eight in parallel (8-core Intel i7 processor) that it was converting before. Any offers as to how I might fix this?
