Converting FLAC to ALAC overwrites original FLAC file cover art

    Hi,

I've just converted some albums from FLAC to ALAC using music converter. The original FLAC files have embedded cover art (just the album cover embedded in each file). When I convert the files, the ALAC version cover art gets converted correctly, however the original FLAC file cover art gets distorted, like it's a mix of different cover art files.

Any idea why this is happening?

    Thanks.

When converting from FLAC, the art would not be touched (in the FLAC file), at least not by dBpoweramp, the files are opened read only.

      Hi Spoon,

Do you have any idea why the FLAC cover art has been altered? It's only those FLAC files that where converted to ALAC, the rest of my FLAC library remains untouched. I use Jriver MC19, but that shouldn't be altering any of the files either. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you send one FLAC file before and after?

Does it happen to all FLAC files?
