Extraction Log shows wrong folder when using Multi Encoder....

    Hi

I've been updating and adapting my profiles in preparation for a lot of ripping. When I've made a few changes, I tend to create a new profile. Kind of like an incremental back up! At some point, I changed from a single encoder to the multi encoder. As such, there is still a path showing in the left corner window. It is greyed out and is superseded by the paths set for each encoder. However, the Extraction Log reports that the files were written to the old/greyed out location.

Is there a way to change that easily without having to re-do a profile from scratch?

    Cheers

    Max

To clarify the log is written to the wrong folder? or the folder shown in the log is wrong?

This. Sorry if I wasn't clear. And thanks for the super fast response.

This is to be expected with Multiencoder, to change this path change the encoder from multi-encoder, set to match what is set in multi encoder then set back to multi encoder.

OK, I've done that. Thanks for explaining.

The other thing I noticed was that in the "Set File Naming" dialogue for a single encoder, there are check boxes for "Show Example as Compilation CD", "Show Example as Multi-CD Set", and "Current CD Meta". These are very handy and useful. But unfortunately they are not present on the same dialogue when using the multi encoder. Is there a reason for that or is it just something that slipped through? If the latter, I think it would make a good feature request.....

          Cheers

Also, just noticed that the same thing has to be done for the naming string (i.e. the log only shows what is set up for a single encoder, and ignores what is chosen for multi encoders. So again, this needs to be set correctly with a single encoder first, as per Spoon's advice above).

Just thought I would mention that for anyone reading in future who is as anal about such things as I am!!!!

Max, I'm sure no one has ever accused you of being anal (OCD).
