Which ALAC encoder in dBpoweramp 14.3?

Hi All,

Which ALAC encoder was used in 14.3? I know it was the open source one but is it the same version number of the ALAC encoder as in 14.4 (i.e. Apple Open Source ALAC v1.0)?

I don't have 14.3 installed anymore. 14.4 writes the ALAC version number to the .m4a files but 14.3 didn't. I have checked the version history and cannot find it. Do you have a record of this as the developer?

Sorry to bump this but do you Spoon or anyone else know the ALAC codec/encoder version in 14.3? I presume it's the Apple released open-source ALAC encoder?

R14.3 had the apple open source encoder, there has only been one release of this code by apple, but in that time we have bug fixed some tagging issues.

No
