I convert my flac files to mp3 files for use in iTunes/iPod. On conversion, I use the ID Tag processing DSP to create a date tag called releasetime. This tag is then read and displayed in iTunes as the Release Date.
Within dBPoweramp, any processing of my mp3 files results in converting this tag to release date. iTunes does not recognise this tag and so I no longer see the Release Date in iTunes. Within MP3Tag I see that my %releasetime% tag has been renamed %release date%.
Please can you amend dBpoweramp to process my releasetime tag as is and not change it to release date OR change the dBpoweramp release date tag to releasetime?
... also just discovered that foobar2000 exhibits the same behaviour as dBpoweramp.
Please can someone (Spoon, PeterP) explain?
