I have managed to rip a number of my CDs using dBpoweramp onto my laptop as flac files. I now wish to convert them to alac so I can copy them on to a new iPad Air. There are differing opinions about the process and I wish to use my dBpoweramp software to do this but have read in other blogs that doing this directly can be unreliable. Can I get a qualified opinion please?

Converting FLAC >> ALAC is not unreliable in dBpoweramp. -

dBpoweramp can also verify after conversion that they contain precisely the same audio - then both original and copy are decoded and compared.
