cross fade MP3 no gaps can it be done

HI wish to know i fyou can cross fade a MP3. I have a MP3 player in my car and play a lot of Techno so i dont want the gaps from one song to the next. I dont want to make a audio CD just MP3. I have tryed nero were i can cross fade MP3's say 4 at a time but that makes them like 20mins long. And i cant find out if you can place like a index mark to skip to the next track of the 4 that have been cross fade. So if you know what i need and how to do it please email me or let a reply.
