    basic problem

I can't get to first base converting an audio cd to .wav. I get the following error: "The CODEC required to decompress 'G:\Track01.cda' could not be opened. Unable to access CD Drive 'G:\Track01.cda'"

I've tried reinstalling the program. Have used the program successfully before. Am operating with Windows XP.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

Try DMC Audio CD Input. It should be on your desktop or:

Start > All Programs > DBpowerAmp Music Converter > DMC Audio CD Input

Problem occurs in the Input program as well--it simply does not recognize my CD drives. No audio appear in DMC Audio CD Input or Converter. My drives are working and accessible through other programs, but not DMC. Under options in CD INput, "use CD drive" is blank--no drives appear. I'm really stuck!!!

I found my answer in FAQ's, thanks! I needed to conigure DC powerAMp audio to "2000 / NT device I/O". Now everything works as it should, finally!
