    RealAudio support...

I'd like to convert audio files to/from RealAudio. The codecs supplied by dBpowerAMP require RealAudio8 to be installed on my computer (not RealOnePlayer!). However, when I installed RealAudio8, it doesn't play the .RA files anymore, and RealAudio insists that you must download and use the new RealOnePlayer software.

If I install the codecs using RealOnePlayer, will I really get no functionality from the dBpowerAmp converter? What's the problem here? Maybe the codecs have to be upgraded to keep pace with the new RealAudio software...

    Some guidance would be appreciated.

    Hi,

Real Audio 8 *should* play the files created using the dBPowerAMP
Real Audio encoder (the encoder is built on RA8 SDK). Although, I see
that the player is no longer available for download on their site.

I installed RealOne Player and the dBpowerAMP input codec (for
decoding rm files) and it all worked fine. The progress bar and
percentage done remain at 0% during conversion (known feature).

    HTH,
    Daren.
