    Error GetPopUpInfo Failed message

Hello, I am new here. I have a problem and i hope someone here can help me. I tried browsing through subjects just in case to avoid duplication but i could not found any.

I have the Reference Edition DMC R14.4 which i downloaded first, then i downloaded the DMC reference Code Pack R4.

When i put the cursor on any files, it gives me the Name, Type, Size (in mb), Length (in minutes). But when i place my cursor over an MP4 files, it gives me a message - ERROR GETPOPUPINFO FAILED.

Am i doing something wrong? Is there a separate codec for mp4 that i need to download.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

If happens for all types of audio files, then your security software is stopping dbpoweramp running.

Thanks Spoon for your response. I tried with other files and the error message now applies to m4a as well as mp4 files. Could there be a separate codec for m4a/mp4 that i need to download?

      Thanks.

Try this, create an Apple Lossless m4a file with dBpoweramp, and see if can have popup with it, then we can both be certain the file is not in question, rather the program which reads the file.

Hi Spoon, do you mean open CD Ripper and ripped files as m4a? When i opened CD Ripper, the RIP TO drop option M4A Nero (AAC) option is blurred out. When i clicked on it, I get a message - THE ENCODER M4A NERO (AAC) HAS TO BE DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED BEFORE IT CAN BE USE.

          Totally lost now...

At the top of that list should be 'Apple Lossless' - rip one file to it.
