    Errors whilst converting

    Hi
Sometimes (very often) when I start a conversion from the audio input connector (to mp3), I get the message below. The only way to cure the problem seems to be to restart my Laptop.
Does anyone know a better cure?

It is likely something has kept the sound card recorder open, and the Aux Input cannot access it.

Do you have an idea of what I can do about it - except to restart my PC? Is the sound card defect? Shall I buy a new (external) sound card?

If you had a USB sound card, unplugging and reinserting would be the same as restarting the system.

Finns det inte en tjänst jag kan starta om, i stället för att starta om hela datorn?
