well that dont help much ive got the same problem....

im tryint to convert wav. to mp3 (with mpegsuit 2000 CLI)
ive downloaded the powerpack thingy cos it told me to so i expected it to include the codec.exe which it still cant find

this is the error i revice after i ask it to convert the file

The CODEC required to compress 'E:\Bob'sMixes\HardHouseMIx.mp3.TEMP.mp3' could not be opened.
Unable to run encoder 'C:\codec.exe'

As well as downloading the MPEGSuite 2000 CLI codec, you have to download MPEGSuite 2000 (the program) itself from http://www.dplanet.ch/users/phre/mpegsuite-e.htm . You will need to follow the instructions on http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-mpeg2000.htm to get it working properly.

Bear in mind that the quality output of this codec isn't very good - the standard Lame codec included as standard produces much better results, and is only marginally slower.
