Can't convert Wavpack files

Hi,

I'm having a problem converting files from WV format. I'm trying to convert to FLAC and/or mp3, but it doesn't work.
The dBpoweramp converter says this: "DirectShow filter for '.wv' file types is not installed, or audio file is corrupt. [clDecoder::Open]"

I really don't know what does that means. Needless to say that I reinstalled the Wavpack codec as is available in the codec central, but the same error occurs everytime I tried to convert.

For the record my dBpoweramp version is the 13.2 registered reference release.

Uninstall the dbpoweramp directshow codec, you do not need it as it is taking over the installed wavpack codec.

It worked.

I did exactly as you said. I uninstalled the dbpoweramp directshow codec and now it is possible to convert WV files to other formats.

Hi, hope it's OK to pop in to this thread after 14 years lol - I am having the same issue, but I can't find where to uninstall the directshow codec - any help would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, this software is the best I've ever bought for music etc - LOVE IT!
