Cant convert .mp3 to wav !!!

Hi Spoons

I have downloaded a audio book from the net (200 meg mp3 random sound !!) I want to convert the file so I can burn onto cd and use with any cd player.
I have tryed to convert to wav file but only get a 5k file after conversion for 20-30 mins.

Am I doing something wrong ?? (this is my 1st time so please be kind !!)

any help would be welcome

Try my audio player, see if it can play it (it uses the same mp3 reader).
