Can't rip (or convert) to wma!

When I try to rip or convert to wma I get an errormessage and the
program shuts down. Ripping to mp3 seems to be working. I'm running
WinXP Home and I have installed the codec and the system files from
    dbpoweramp. What's wrong?

It says (I'm translating this from swedish):

"MusicConverter.exe has encountered a problem and has to be terminated."

Try converting one of your mp3 files to wma, does that work?

Must be a problem with the WMA codec.

Have you tried uninstalling the WMA codec and reinstalling?

If that doesn't work, try deleting the C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dbPowerAmp folder, and reinstall music converter (latest beta, available in Beta Test forum), then try installing Windos Media Player 9 itself, and then the dbpoweramp WMA codec.

*** If you use dbpoweramp Audio Player, make sure to first backup the <yourname>.MMC file ***

I have tried reinstalling the codec and it didn't work, but I will try the other thing now and see if that works better.

                That didn't work either..

I think i'm gonna give this up now, I'll just use WMP for it instead (i've just tried it and it works). The thing is that i've tried other ripping programs aswell and they (exept for WMP) can't rip to wma either..

Thanks very much for your help anyway!!
