Just downloaded and installed dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC)

I am not having any luck with the program. I got to the spot where I hit the convert button and nothing happened. I looked in my file for converted music and there was nothing there. I was trying to convert a .wav to an .mp3. I followed the Spoons instructions to the T. Thanks for any help anyone can give.
