Hi sorry I think my last forum post bugged out.
I've noticed that when you create an Apple Lossless file in iTunes, it might say something like 786kbps or 1204kbps for a song, as this represents the compression rate of the file. However when I create an ALAC with dBpoweramp, it will say 1411kbps even though that's not it's actual bit rate.
Is this something I can modify in settings? I would like to rip with dBpoweramp, import into iTunes and have it show the compressed bit rate like Track 1 300kbps, Track 2 1205kbps, Track 3 1144kbps, etc. etc. Instead of just 1411kbps for every song.
Thanks
