Is it that important to use DSP settings when converting Flac files from HDtracks (24,192 or 96) to 16/44.1 CD quality wavs? Or I can just use the the drop down menus to set the settings?

Re: Just a quick question
I understand, but isn't it better for bit depth to use the DSP pluggin with dithering. You will have to excuse me :D, I'm not such a big expert on the whole thing, but i've read that when going from 24 to 16 dithering is necessary.Comment

Re: Just a quick question
Yes, right now I am converting HDtracks 24 bit 96 and 192 khz files to cd quality wavs. My question about the bit depth DSP plugin and more specifically the dithering was about these high resolution files. After ripping my cds I just convert my FLACS to standart wavs with the "as source" setting with no dithering.Comment
