    Codec problem

Hey.. I'm trying to convert wma to mp3 but it says that the compression codec could not be opened. I've tried the codec section of this website and apparently the one i need is windows media player 9 codec but i have WMP version 9... and so i'm kind of stuck,. any ideas? thanks!

Have you installed dbpoweramp's WMA codec too? Because dbpoweramp's codec interfaces dirrectly with the original Microsoft codec, so you need to install both. You already have WMP9, which is good, but you also need the other file.

    WMA v9 Codec Release 1.3b

Don't forget to reboot after installing. Just in case.

Where's the second one. I see only one file available for WMA in the codec list. I'm having a similar problem in that WMA is listed under "write" in the configuration, but not under "read". So I have an error when trying to perform the conversion.
