    ID3Tags bug

    Windows XP SP1
Editing ID3Tags, if you push 'Delete All' :
    - Track number is not deleted.
    - Really ID3Tags table is not deleted as do WinAmp 2.91
    - Bad info are copied to mpeg info (You can see with WinAmp ) and could make crash or fail programs like 'Creative Media Source' that uses that information. Or even affects to playing quality
    n Kbps
    n channels

    Copyrighted: No
    Original: No

Editing ID3Tags, if you push 'Delete All' :
At times this error was generated :
Aplicación con errores: musicconverter.exe, versión: 4.0.0.52, módulo con error: mp3.dll, versión 4.0.0.51, dirección de error 0x000187a8.

I have configured dbpoweramp to create 'Both v1 & v2'
And all programs to create mp3 files on my computer creates ID3 tags v1 & v2 simultaneously

Because your question I proved to edit tags on files with only v1 or v2. To do that I used WinAmp to delete a version of ID3Tags from a mp3. I haven´t changed dbpoweramp configuration
      The conclusions :
If only exist ID3Tags v1 - Pushing 'Delete All' -> 'Track' is not deleted and this value is copied to ID3Tags v2

If only exist ID3Tags v1 - Pushing 'Delete All' -> All values are cleared but bad information are copied as I before explained
      n Kbps
      n channels
      CRCs: Sí
      Copyrighted: No
      Original: No
      Énfasis: CITT j.17

      Other problem I found :
If exist ID3Tags v1 & v2 and the entry called 'Comment' is set - Pushing 'Delete All' -> a bad value is asigned to ID3tag v1. The consecuence is that editing tags again shows 'Comment'=[Different]

About the error generated by dbpoweramp I think Happens when exist personalized entries on ID3Tags v2. It´s indiferent if ID3Tags v1 exists

The libraries for dealing with ID3 tags are not very reliable, infact recently the www.id3.org has dropped from existance.

I will investigate adding support to mp3 for APE2 tags.
