CODEC decompression error

I'm trying to convert wma -> mp3 on a Windows 2000 (with Service Pack 3), but all i get is this error message:

"CODEC decompression error"

I've tried with other formats/codecs and it works ok.

Ani idea?

If you have tried that wma file to other formats, then: Certain mp3 compression settings do not work together, try different bitrates or frequencies.
