Commands, syntax and variables guide for dynamic output

Having searched the forum, I can find lots of forum posts on specific questions around the dynamic output, but nowhere can I find a guide that gives you all the commands, syntax and id3 variables.

Does such a guide exist?

If not, does anyone know what the dynamic output syntax is based on?

I want to figure out what is possible to ensure my compilation albums get converted into a sensible structure.
